Maximizing A Small Space: Pantry Organization Tips and Revamp Ideas

When organizing my pantry, I took a few things into consideration like size, space, visibility, labeling, etc. One thing for certain is that I did not have a walk-in pantry, but I did have cabinetry space in our kitchen that could be used as a pantry.

The first thing I did was remove everything that was in the pantry. This helped me decide on what needed to be removed, what was probably expired to say the least, and what items I need to add to the revamp. I then sanitized and cleaned the entire space from top to bottom before placing any new items in the area.

For the revamp, I kept the same containers that I found on Amazon during the Covid pandemic from the Evionsits brand. They have easy lock lids, very durable, and adds great style to your pantry.

The containers come in a Set of 7 with a tall container (1.7qt), 2 medium containers (1.1qt), 2 small containers (0.7qt), and 2 mini containers (0.5qt). In addition, it has chalkboard stickers and a marker to label the containers.

I preferred pre-printed labels so I purchased some separately from the Vitever Brand, also on Amazon. It included 308 Kitchen Pantry and labels with 3 sizes for minimalist organizing. It has 279 labels that were pre-printed and 29 blank labels for you to write and customize to your own needs in your pantry. The labels I had prior to these were black and also preprinted. I love both labels the same. However, I decided to change the entire look for the revamp to a more minimalist design.

Organizing and revamping your pantry comes with many benefits:

  1. Keeps you from buying duplicate items.

  2. Makes finding your items easier and quicker.

  3. Saves you time and money in the long run.

  4. Helps to eliminate expired food.

  5. Maximizes your overall space.

Now that you are aware of the benefits of keeping your pantry organized. Here is how the pantry revamp it turned out.
