Creating a Festive Table for New Year's Eve Dining

After Christmas is over, I immediately start to think about New Year's. When I think of New Year's, I think of sparkle, glitter, and joy! So that's what I wanted our table to reflect. The first thing I did was remove the holiday decor and dinnerware that was already in place. Here is a picture of the our 2023 Christmas holiday dining decor.

I love how it turned out but I wanted to make a few changes to the dining layout for New Year's Dinner. Adding a white or festive tablecloth is a great way to instantly transform your dining table. However, I decided to opt out of adding one since the table is already white marble and already fits the aesthetic for this year's dining vision.

To get started, I removed the candle display and added a more sparkling and rhinestone candle set that I already had previously. The candles were purchased from my local at Home store. My mother gave me the candle holders and I DIY'd the rhinestones to match the candles. I have used this candle display in my home as part of the decor and I also used it at my bridal shower.

I then added a greenery garland around the candle set. Greenery is a great way to add warmth and make any space inviting.

I knew I wanted to keep the dinnerware since it had the sparkling festive look I was going for. However, I decided to change out the chargers from gold to silver.

I kept the ornaments that were in the jars since it still represents a festive ambiance. I removed the reindeer since it's widely known for celebrating the Christmas holiday. Lastly, I added some cutlery and it bought everything together.

Here is a final look of the our New Year's Dining Table in its entirety. I only changed a few things like changing out for gold charger plates to silver chargers, removing the reindeer, and changing out the candle set to a sparkling set.

It turned out great without me having to make a lot of changes to it. I always take this into consideration when I'm decorating for the Christmas holiday. Stay tuned to see more tablescape decor and entertaining ideas.
